Foundation Skills Assessment – January 16th, 2013

It is the time of year when grade 4 and 7 students will be taking part in the Foundation Skills Assessment provincially. They are part of the Ministry of Education’s assessment practices that all schools participate in and are considered a snapshot of a child’s progress.

Grow The Grinch’s Heart!

For the next week and a half, our students will be trying to “Grow the Grinch’s Heart” with acts of kindness and good citizenship. We have created a Grinch for the elementary wing, as well as the secondary.

The Halls are Alive…with the sound of Music!

Every year, Ms. Ackroyd organizes the baking of cookies for the Friends of Hudson’s Hope Christmas hampers.  If you would like to make donations of flour, sugar, or chocolate, please contact the office.

Philippine Disaster Relief Fundraiser – a tremendous success!

Congratulations to the students, staff and community around Hudson’s Hope School – together we raised over $1000 for relief efforts for the Philippines.
This is another great example of how our school is creating students who are best for the world.
