Dynamic Influences Social Media Safety Presentations

Greetings Parents;

Here’s a description of the two upcoming presentations by Dynamic Influence:

Grades 7-9, Tuesday April 23rd at Bert Bowes.  School Bus leaves HHESS at 8:30am (Bring a bag lunch and water bottle).

This Presentation Covers:

  • Technology Addiction
  • Social Media Anxiety
  • Cyber bullying & hateful posting
  • Posting too much information
  • Meeting strangers online
  • Your digital profile & whose looking (colleges, employers, etc.)
  • Illusion of security & privacy on social media
  • Sexting (for age appropriate grades)
  • 3 Simple Rules to Follow Before Your Hit Send

As an “edutainer,” Robert Hackenson Jr. believes that it’s not just what you say, but how the important messages are delivered.  When students are bored, the important messages are lost.  In order to capture the low attention span of middle school students, Robert developed a dynamic presentation that will keep your students engaged while delivering the important messages.  Some of the unique techniques his presentation uses:

      • Magic
      • Illusions
      • Skits
      • Video
      • Other visual effects

Grades 4-6, Thursday April 25th at Anne Roberts Young School.  School Bus leaves HHESS at 9:30am (Bring a bag lunch and water bottle).

        • An interactive and edutaining presentation on digital and social media landmines that is designed for elementary school students (grades 4-6). This presentation uses magic, illusions, and more to discuss how to use technology responsibly without falling into the potential safety, social, and emotional traps that can come with excess screen time, gaming, and social media use.

Get ready for a dynamic and edutaining presentation tailored to elementary school students, that discusses how to navigate around digital and social media landmines and use this technology responsibly.  We hope you enjoy this interactive virtual presentation that uses magic, illusions, humor, and even audience participation, to keep you captivated while reinforcing the important lessons!

Also just a reminder that there is a parent night on April 24th at 7:00pm at Anne Roberts Young.  Parents are welcome to bring their child(ren) as well.
