Natural Horsemanship Demonstration

Our HHESS Natural Horsemanship class will be presenting a demonstration of our skills to the public next Wednesday, January 18th. The show will start at 7:00 PM, at the indoor riding arena. There will be a concession and door prizes, and admission will be $5 per person, children under 6 admitted free. The first part of our show will be a demonstration explaining how working with your horse on the ground can help communication while riding. Several of our students will display their skill in different activities, including side passing and jumping. We will break for a short intermission, during which time the door prizes will be drawn. The second part of our show will be a “two-ring” affair: half of the arena will be reserved for pony rides for audience members at $2 per ride (helmets provided), while the other half will be a competitive demonstration where our students will attempt to complete an obstacle course in as little time as possible. This event is the first of its kind in Hudson’s Hope, and the students are very excited to show you what they’ve learned. We hope to see you there! Please do not bring dogs.
