Greetings Parents & Caregivers;

Our elementary staff met after school, and we have decided to run the H Note Fun Day tomorrow (Tuesday) due to the weather forecast (it’s supposed to be a reasonably nice day tomorrow, but rainy on Wednesday).  It’s really important to have nice weather for this day.

The planned activities are the same (see previous message below).

Shona will be the bus driver for the grade 4-6 students (they will be going to Dinosaur Lake for morning activities & picnic lunch).  We are not sending home travel consent forms for this short-distance field trip.  If you have a concern regarding travel, please contact me.

Greetings parents,

Wednesday TUESDAY is our fun day.  All of the elementary students will participate in various activities.  The kindergarten to grade 3 will rotate through centres in the morning (9:15 to 11:45), and grades 4 to 6 will go to Dinosaur Lake and have a picnic lunch.  In the afternoon, the kindergarten to grade 3s will play at Beattie Park, and grades 4 to 6 will rotate through the centers.  Students may want to wear swimsuits for their centres as there is waterplay; or clothes they do not mind getting wet.  Either way, please send a change of clothes to ensure they are dry and comfortable afterwards. 

You are welcome to join us during any part of the day.

The activities include:

• Art
• Water play
• Outdoor building and games
• Bubbles and chalk
• Dunk tank (students are not going in the dunk tank…they are “dunking” some adults.).
