I’m told that the school supply lists did not get sent out with the final report cards. I have emailed them out to parents, but in case I don’t have your email address, you can download a handy list for grades 5+ here (students in grades 4 and below are provided with materials from the school).

Greetings Parents and Students. Welcome back to an exciting new year at Hudson’s Hope School. Please note that our office is open during the week before school starts (August 26-30) from 9:00-3:00. We will be planning a Welcome Back Barbeque during the early Fall.

Link Crew & Grade 7/8 Orientation This will take place at the school on Friday, August 30th from 10:00am – 2:00pm. The purpose of this orientation is to make the transition from elementary school to “high school”

Recently our Kindergarten-Grade 1 Class spent a class with their “Big Buddy” Biology 11 students. They learned a bunch about how frogs live, and they participated in a dissection of some lab-specimens.

Our shop students recently completed their “elephant” woodwork projects. I managed to get a quick picture of two of them before the students brought them home. Great work guys!

Our Secondary Foods class spent some time earlier this week teaching students from Mr. Tilsner’s class how to prepare a meal.

Welcome back. Hopefully everyone has enjoyed a restful two week Spring Break.
Two quick reminders for parents with elementary-aged students. Please send appropriate clothing as our fields will be wet for the next couple of weeks.

Parents are invited to come and join us for some fun activities this Friday afternoon. Students have signed up for Hockey, Karaoke, Science Experiments, Birdhouse Building, Obstacle Course Dodgeball, Challenge Races, Sledding, Easter Crafts, and more.

Our grade 7-12 Work Ethics Honour Roll students enjoyed an amazing day at Powder King as recognition for their hard work and positive attitude. The weather was excellent, and there was a lot of fresh powder.
