Our grade 4-7 students enjoyed a fun day exploring different career options, while also participating in engaging hands-on activities. A big thank you to Mrs. Conway and her School District 60 Careers Team! The students rotated through six different stations including “Medical, Textiles, Try a Tool, Electrical, Welding, and Horticulture”. We were very thankful to have Mr. Paulgaard run the Medical Station (with a tour of the ambulance as an added bonus), and Lannie Rhymer provided an awesome hands-on horticulture station! Jesse Matheson put together a great career information station with books from the library (which the Career Team thought was such an awesome idea, they are going to incorporate the idea into their future Career Days). Also, thank you Mrs. Hart for volunteering to help out wherever needed. Awesome work everyone! Below are just a few quick pics!
