Last Wednesday morning, our elementary students were put into small groups, and then rotated through a variety of locations such as the bus, assembly area, “4-square”, and many others. A big thank you to Mrs. Scott’s grade 5/6 class for doing a fantastic job teaching our younger students how to be great H.A.W.K.S. in a variety of different settings. The grade 5/6’s obviously practised a lot and spent some time to make their presentations fun and engaging. Teaching our youth what good citizenship looks like (rather than telling them how “not to act”), is a big part of how we are able to create a positive culture in our school. Also, these types of opportunities help our different age groups to connect to one another in positive ways; fostering stronger relationships. Way to go HAWKS!
